Structure

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade comprises its Headquarters in Kingston and eighteen (18) diplomatic missions and consular posts in the Caribbean, North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

 

There are approximately four hundred (400) officers in the Foreign Service - all of whom provide direct or indirect service to the Jamaican and international communities at home and abroad.  The consular activities of the Foreign Ministry are buttressed by the support of Honorary Consuls in forty-seven (47) cities around the world.
